BRINGING FAMILIES TOGETHER THROUGH COMMUNITY, EDUCATION, & SUPPORT.
We are dedicated, inspired, and honored to provide our community with parenting resources and enrichment classes.
Hi! I'm Alana Rusin. I have been a practicing attorney in Boston for the past 10 years and I live in Fort Point with my husband and two kiddos, Lucy (4) and Liam (19 months).
I first discovered Little Lovage Club in 2016 as a client. My Newbies Class, led by Nancy Gair, helped me feel sane, supported and understood during the wild ride of new motherhood. I kept coming back and took Kangas, Here we Go Again with Liam, and other classes. Lovage and its community of young families is near and dear to my heart. So when Lovage temporarily closed during the pandemic I found my calling - and ended up taking over as the new owner!
I am excited and honored to reboot Lovage. My dream is to continue to build the most supportive, inclusive community of young families in and around Boston, and to be the premier resource for you as you navigate the 0-5 year stage in the Hub. There are many exciting announcements coming. Please look out for email updates and updated class schedules. I hope you will join us and please reach out to us (firstname.lastname@example.org) or me (email@example.com) with any questions, comments or requests!
Nancy Gair grew up in Arlington, MA. After graduating from Yale, she went to drama school in England, where she lived and worked for the next 26 years. Following the births of her sons, she was inspired to train with the National Childbirth Trust as a childbirth educator, qualifying in 2004, and had the pleasure of teaching couples in her North London home while her then-young boys sneaked downstairs to pilfer the refreshments.
When Nancy and sons returned stateside in 2007, she began teaching both pre- and post-natal classes at a wide variety of venues in Greater Boston, as well as conducting trainings for early parenting group facilitators.
Like so many others this past year, she has happily made the transition to facilitating groups online, and is delighted once again to include Little Lovage Club families in her classes!
