With some birthday parties, we’re spoiled with a talented parent who has a vision to add some personal enhancements to our themed parties and make them over-the-top awesome. Mom had all of the inspiration for this one, and we just ran with it!  The sweet little birthday girl is a huge Little Mermaid fan, so we set up our Under the Sea theme and then transformed the room into Ariel’s abode!  All of the extra work paid off when Letty ran into the room gasping, “ARIEL!”.

With the arrival of the little party guests, we were ready to celebrate.  The kids kept happy exploring ocean themed sensory bins and painting adorable wooden treasure chests to take home. The cherry on top was the bubble machine, and it got all the toddlers jumping and clapping.  The party came to an end after Letty’s pals sat with her to sing Happy Birthday and assist with blowing out the candles.  She’s basically a mermaid!

Happy Birthday, Letty!

Maria was turning five, so we threw a fairy tea party!  Guests were asked to arrive in costume – princesses, Spider Man, lizard, whatever their hearts desired!  The party kicked off with fairy house decorating, complete with glitter, bright paints, flowers and stickers.  Bonaparte, a Boston magician, came to join the fun and brought plenty to keep the guests enchanted, including a dove and a bunny!  The kids enjoyed lunch and topped the party off with delicious cupcakes.  Happy Birthday, Maria!

farm3

Every now and again we get a birthday child who wholeheartedly adores their party theme.  In this case, Alexandra was the absolute poster child for farm animal lover.  It started months before her actual birthday, when she visited our space for a classroom party, and spent the entire time with the farm animals in their fences.  Genuinely petting, brushing, holding and playing with every single animal, which we knew was special for a child who was still two years old.  It was immediately evident that Alex had to come back for her upcoming birthday – for more time with these baby animals that she adored.

Months later, we found ourselves in spring, which is the best time if you’re looking for brand new barn babies.  Baby goats (kids), piglets, ducklings and chicks flocked to Little Lovage Club for Alex’s third party, and the celebration was grand!  Along with tending to the animals, the kids kept busy with farm-themed crafts and activities, like painting with tractors and using tweezers to decorate sheep.  Everyone left happy – even the baby animals.  Happy Birthday, Alex!

Roooooooooooooar!  Make way for dinosaurs.

Santino celebrated the big three this year with his absolute favorite creature – dinosaurs!  This birthday boy was so sweet.  Upon entering the room, you could tell from his face that he was absolutely thrilled that this party was especially for him! Dinos were everywhere- from jumbo plastic play toys, to window decals, to mysterious t-rex footprints on the ground.  The little crew stayed busy with our dino fossil excavation, where each child put on a hard hat and got to work, searching for fossils in heavy sand.  With the help of shovels, brushes, and sand sifters, the buckets kept filling with treasures.  The birthday party came to an end as guests shuffled out with dino masks and coloring kits in hand.  Happy Birthday, Santino!

Parent testimonial:

“I received so many compliments on how great and fun the party was overall.  The kids were entertained throughout the two hours and that was such a relief on my end.  The last thing I want at a birthday party is for a kid to be bored or think the party is boring.  That definitely was not the case here.  Santino had so much fun and he is still talking about it.  So I just want to Thank You!!  You did an amazing job and I could not have been happier.  Thanks again for taking care of EVERYTHING!   You guys are the best!”

Little Lovage Club’s Fairy Tea Party theme is a great choice for creative kids!  Gorgeous decor fills the room with touches of sparkles, outdoor elements like grass and twigs, butterflies, and plenty of pink and purple.  For party favors, each child dances home with fairy wings and a sparkly wand.  This party crew chose the Fairy House Decorating as an add-on, and brought the magic of fairies to life!  These small wooden houses were painted with enchanting colors, glitters, and flowers and then topped off with faux grass and ladybugs.  Such a cute project for a little lady turning three.  Happy Birthday!

This little chef loves to cook it up in the kitchen at home!  That’s why mom came to us with need of creating a care-free, chef-inspired, fun party for her 4-year-old and his best pals.  For Jack’s party, we decorated the room in baking blues and greens, from the decorative oven mitts to the tiny toddler aprons.   Friends arrived to decorate sugar cookies with a rainbow of sprinkles, icing and candies, (and of course most of the creations didn’t make it into their take home bags)!   To continue the fun, one of our favorite magicians topped off the party with an interactive magic show, mesmerizing the children with the special help of the birthday boy.   The dance party and balloon animals were an absolute hit, and everyone went home exhausted.  Happy Birthday, Jack!

We were so happy to host this little lady’s first birthday bash!  The farm rolled out to Boston for Tulsi’s first birthday party at Little Lovage Club.  Mom came to us with a love of our girly farm theme and a vision of adding adorable barnyard themed sweets, like an elaborate cake, chick and cow cookies, and cake pops.  Mom helped us cover the finest details, making sure every animal came ready to party (including the sheep on Tulsi’s special shirt and pants).  With the help of real baby animals, the party was exciting for all guests from babies to grandparents!  All of the little farmers walked away with custom-made thank you bags which included a barnyard book, cookie, bandanas and animal crackers.  Now that’s a party!
